ROB PHILLIPS, director
I've been directing the choirs at Clear Springs High School since it opened in 2007. I am thrilled to be teaching so close to where I grew up, and to serve the community that raised me. I am a product of Ross Elementary School League City Intermediate, and Clear Creek High School, where I was the choir president and a Texas All-State Choir member my senior year. I earned my Bachelors of Music degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas (Go Pirates!) and Masters degree in Educational Management from the University of Houston--Clear Lake.
Prior to teaching at Springs, I taught at Clear Lake High School (2005-2007), J. Frank Dobie High School in Pasadena (1995-2005), and Apollo Junior HIgh School near Dallas (1994-1995).
I live just down the road with my wife Rachel and two children, Lyra and Micah. Rachel is a program manager for Leidos, a contractor for NASA. Lyra is a sixth grader at Creekside Intermediate, and Micah is a fifth grader at Campbell Elementary.
